Art Competitors

Each spring, theCongressional Institutesponsors a nationwide highschool visual art competition to acknowledge and encourage artistic talent within the nation and in every congressional district. Since the Artistic Discovery competitors started in 1982, more than 650,000 high school college students have participated. Aesthetics is the branch of philosophy that offers with the character and appreciation of art, beauty, and style. The word “aesthetic” is derived from the Greek “aisthetikos,” which means “esthetic, sensitive, or sentient.
